Immigrant ◕ ‿‿ ◕

A person when traveling from one country to another, becomes an immigrant, and this brings the person involved to face challenges and difficulties in their new place of establishment. Below I will show you the main challenges and difficulties of being an immigrant in any country that is not a native of origin.

Ideally, anyone could live with dignity in their country of origin and not have to emigrate forced by misery and an existence without expectations. In this area of the principles most of us are basically in agreement, however the problem comes when we have to move from desires to facts, from theory to reality.

  1. As the first area we have to learn a new language, that is, the language of the country where the person went, in order to adapt to the lifestyle and culture of the new country.
  2. Get a new education to continue studying and be able to cope with the new life, not get stuck and move forward
  3. Adapt to the new customs and ways of life of the country to which the person traveled, since often you can meet hostile people who deal with prejudices and can joke about the culture and bother with it
  4. Find new people with whom to relate and in turn know the culture, language and lifestyles to lead a full life in the new country
  5. Finally know how to cope with the type of racism or discrimination because people do not know the reason for living in another country, or simply are afraid of the unknown, in this case the person (xenophobia)
